Some responses from BC re: WSTL and ALA... I don't understand why MZ couldn't just say that WSTL was out of BC...This concerns me what else WSTL has lost that they are not willing to tell us... Alcatell will be used for all new connections, even in Ottawa/Hull and Quebec City where ADSL is already available. Nancy ------------ Hi Nancy, Thank you for the update. You say that you will be using Alcatel modems in all new areas. Is that something happening now ? Are you actually using any Alcatel modems now or are you still using Westell modems? I was under the assumption that you were still using Westell modems since Alcatel modems were not ready yet? I appreciate the update. We are just beginning to use the Alcatel modems and have no reason to believe, from our trials, that there is a problem. The modem was the reason for our delay in releasing the ADSL service however we fell confident that the ALcatel modem is ready. I heard that Alcatel modems weren't quite ready and that BC was still ordering modems from Westell? Thanks Again!
