Yes Dan you are right.Wasn't it Shakespeares Romeo and Juliet that had the song which contained the words"A rose may bloom but then it fades" I have enough of the damn raking and bagging and they are still falling.The oaks have to finish yet after the darn maples are done.
Compost.......I have enough leaves now that if and when they do compost I will be able to supply the whole town with compost.LOL

Leaf mold is supposed to be excellent and the decomposing leaves still contain a lot of trace minerals for good healthy ground so yes........you are right.......eventually they will serve a beneficial purpose.Now if there was some way to fix the blisters on my hands and my aching back.<GG>
