It is a victory for every single one of those who have been wrongfully destroyed and ridiculed in the name of the "cause."

The "cause" is responsible for the defamation of all those that have stood against it. Apparently, three hundred years later, the French Revolution still does not teach.

So, yes, it is his victory... as it is tonto's, even though tonto will never admit to it because of his character.
