Maybe Adaptec doesn't realize how aggressively Dell is coming at their end of the market. The following link is currently from Dell. They are aggressively clustering nodes - and disks - not too far from those Zip drives:

Notice that they are using QLogic adapters.

That's the part I don't understand. QLogic and Emulex keep seeing higher Fibre Channel revenues, and Adaptec competes in the same space. Somebody is wrong, and I think it is Adaptec.
