Josef-
>the government I vote and pay for MUST lie to me, 'cause I'm
a sheep?<
One thing I don't like about the internet is its so difficult to say something exactly as you intend and converse back and forth as a conversation so the point is understood as I meant.
Sadly Josef I do not think the majority of people can handle the truth on this one and since no one knows FOR SURE and it is important for everyone that there is no panic. I do not think that electricity and other necessities of life will be a problem in Y2K because they can simply back the computer dates up if all else but the economic difficulties are very scary and panic will surely result if the worst comes and since nothing can be done about it they may as well try to keep the masses unalarmed and see on Jan 1 2000 what happens as it seems NO ONE knows FOR SURE what will happen....
I am telling friends to take some money to the mattress, stockpile some necessities, just in case have an emergency plan ready with some friends, neighbors, family and pray like crazy on Dec 31 1999.
We can't let it run our lives until.....
