Russell, did you notice this: All the phonies from New York to London to Tokyo only preach the virtues of free markets. And, they give lectures (thanks to the great American invention of business schooling, which, IMO should be more common sense than classroom study) on letting the profitless enterprises fail to make capitalism work the way it is supposed to yada yada. But when it comes to practicing them, all they seem to do is chant the "too big to fail" mantra. It is ironic that communist China is the one that is practicing something that has close resemblance to capitalism.
