ahhaha...no way will you see a model where AOL rides on @Homes network and splits $25 to AOL and $15 to @athome and the cable co....

Cable Co and @Home will charge their full fee and if you want AOL or MSN that will cost you an extra $6.95 on top of the $40 base charge.

Now once you get AOL customers to get on @home or road runner cable internet servcice the advertizers will also setup agreements directly with the cable service and AOL advertizing income will shrink.

No different that the newspapers and TV...advertizers pay for the customer exposure.

AOL is in the lead now....in 2 years they will be falling behind @home and Time Warners Road Runner in many areas.....IMO
