The number looked good to me. .23 given delay in SBL to mid quarter seemed pretty good. Inventory seems well under control. Hopefully marketing expenses will fall in line with usual DEC Q numbers.

Picked up more this morning. Hope it goes up tomorrow, but if it doesn't, I'll be looking to get more...

I don't know if Sim will want to buy back 20% of stock in next 3 months, but if he even wants the option he has to buy back 10% by the end of the year. By the time they have the meeting, well...thats a lot of buying pressure in a very short period of time...

Fred,

Do you know whether or not it would be legal for Creative to offer to purchase Ng's shares privately rather than on the open market? Would they even want to? It seems to me that doing so would prevent a rapid (almost artificial) runup in price, and would also prevent this pesky former owner from dumping shares every time the price of CREAF advances.

Fred, the time to buy calls was 2 weeks ago. And besides, I'm a minor, remember? No margin accounts or options for me! :o) I always look at options though, just to test out fake trades. Get this one...I was seriously ready to buy some calls (through taxikid, of all people) on CELL for 3/4. I haven't checked a quote lately, because I might cry, but they must have an intrinsic value of over $5!

But in reaction to your comments, a runup in anticipation to the buyback is not out of the question. I am in fact expecting it. And wherever we are on November 6th would be the lowest we will see for a while, IMHO. We get a much greater visibility with regards to earnings going forward too, and that is something the institutions definitely look for.

Good luck,

Brian

Well I bought calls today partly for that reason. I'm also betting that the street was expecting a worse performance. But I don't expect any rapid run up. 50 cents a day would do me just fine. <ggg>

BTW, I was under the impression that Ng was long gone. I don't think he is a serious concern anyway. It's the excess shares in the states that are the problem.
