AOL to unveil top retail e-commerce deals

NEW YORK, Oct 27 (Reuters) - America Online Inc. plans to announce new electronic commerce deals with three leading U.S. retailers on Wednesday, Chief Executive Steve Case said Tuesday following the company's latest quarterly earnings report.

AOL officials told Wall Street analysts and other listeners during a conference call carried live over the Internet following its fiscal first quarter earnings report that AOL planned to announce deals with Macy's, Baby Gap and Toys R Us.

Macy's is a unit of Federated Department Stores Inc. (Nyse:FD) Baby Gap is the infant division of the clothing retailer Gap (Nyse:GPS) Stores Inc.

The three retailers will be part of America Online's holiday shopping channel on the company's flagship online service.

No further details were immediately avaiable.

Well, you've got that half right----Buy AOL...but I wouldn't want to squander my AOL profits shorting YHOO...You could get singed real bad doin' that.
