HIA:

Busy times indeed. Just a few years ago LEO stand alones where all the rage. The 'host' companies were not confident enough in the outcome and made them separate companies. The young agile upstarts with the vision took the lead. The companies were the street's darlings and share prices soared. Then the realities of the difficulties started to sink in. Add a launch failure here and there, general world wide economic difficulties and suddenly if you are not pumping cash out you are nothing. No longer in favor, the stock prices tumble. Now the big companies are seeing the light. They know the way to growth and are buying up and teaming up with both the now tainted upstarts and the established players who have stale visions. The big money brings the ability to develop the concepts which have survived.
(The story is familiar because you can see the events repeated over and over in history. Autos and computers for example)

Bernie was early on the concept, but he is in danger of being overtaken by big money. The winners will be the lucky and the ones who know how to play all the angles. It will be interesting.
