I'm trying to do the numbers myself right now...

BTW, a $14.6 million charge/quarter works out to about a (.30). EPS for AMZN was (.40) for 1Q 98 and (.24) for 2Q 98. I'm not sure if the charge is factored in with this quarter's estimates yet. Let me hunt around some more.

Gee, we could use some accounting and accountability standards in our financial markets
so that everyone knew what the numbers meant and could rely on them!
