Bill,

At the rate investors are bidding up stocks like AOL, and at the rate the world economy deteriorates (as reflected in GE's Chart), it will not take very long for people to realize that there cannot be such a total disconnection between the cyber economy and the real economy.

AOL makes money...AMZN doesn't and faces bigtime competition in the future......As I understand it, AMZM sells books and CD's on the internet..where's the lasting proprietary edge?.......It seems big money could "buy" their associates away from them.
