Justice Department attorney David Boies presented key evidence in court
Tuesday buttressing the government's antitrust charges against MICROSOFT
and severely testing the company's defense. In e-mail messages and notes from
APPLE, AOL, NETSCAPE and Microsoft itself, Boies countered company claims
that the case against it has been based on rhetoric and fabrication. One
particularly damaging set of notes was of an August 1997 phone call between
Apple Chief Financial Officer Fred Anderson and Netscape Chief Executive
James Barksdale. In a handwritten scrawl, Anderson described how Microsoft
threatened to abandon work on its Office suite of software for Apple's Macintosh
unless Apple agreed to put Microsoft's browser on its computers, which it
subsequently did. (Dow Jones)

oops forgot about ibm. i think ibm pe too high don't u ? ask MariaB she will tell u. ibm revenue growth was 7-8% signle digit and now has pe 23? geez. i remeber in 96 it used to have pe of 9.

lets wait for a pull back. when company sez stock buy back u sell so u can also buy back when the company does. u know Lou G is a smart guy and he aint gona buy back at 143. when he is ready to buy back u will here things like currency problem, japan this and that...stock tanks they buy and so will us.

why do u think ibm will split? did u hear it or just cuz the stock is too high...cuz u know ibm splits around $200 and i do not see stock going to 200. gosh without erning if goes to $200 pe is gona be too high.... rather stick w. Dell pe of 70 at least they have double digit growth.
