>Well, how did your paper trades turn out?

I'm almost embarrassed to tell you. But I knew I was on to something when I made over $18,000 one day (using the most conservative entry and exit points- allowing for a lot of slippage). Over the past month I've been making from $750 to $2500 per day pretty consistently, with the occasional $5000 day. Not today, though. Loss of about $200 due to whipsawing. And yesterday I "made" around $800 out of a $2000 move. My problem seems to be that my trailing stops get hit pretty consistently, and then I don't get another signal. Meanwhile, the stock continues its move without me.

BTW, I am only trading DELL (it's the only stock I've found in my price range that works so well with various moving averages), so you can see why my head is spinning. We all know that I would never get even the conservative fills in real life especially since I'm not used to the system. I'm also concerned about latency in the data feed. So these are things I will have to adapt to, but these results have given me strong motivation to try.

As far as my being an Eagle Scout, well, no. This is just the only way to make money I've ever fallen in love with. I realize I have a universe to learn. Any help is more than welcome. My apologies for any hubris.

Thanks,
Paul Kaz
