Thanks for posting the clarification. It is generally accepted that Netware is inherently more scalable than NT due to its directory services (NDS), a form of which NT will only get in Windows 2000 (nee NT5.0) in almost the year 2000.
The Chicago Merc replaced a small number of OS2 boxes and a large number of NT boxes with half the number of boxes to run Netware.
It is good to see DELL correcting a slightly misleading PR from MSFT.
We have a full NT network and need two NT machines per domain which can handle about 150 people each domain. That's a lot of NT boxes. Like I have said before, the greater the success of NT the better it is for DELL!
