Thanks Eric. You are appreciated, as always. Your p&f work fascinates me. I see that I have some catching up to do.

Re automatic trendline plots, it's just a matter of time for the software to evolve. You already have the rules. As for percentage boxes, I think that will happen, too. Sort of a standardization, perhaps. We already use percentages for our bullish percent charts.

Re the market, I have been on the sidelines with Octoberphobia for most of the month. Also some business activities keeping me away from the screens. Just own a little gold for now.

Regards,
Dennis

explained in Dr.
Carroll Aby's book Point & Figure Charting, The Complete Guide.

Eric etal, would you please post some of the more significant topics/subject matter you find in Aby that's not covered as well in Dorsey and/or Burke? Checking Barnes & Noble, Aby's book is on a 3-5 week back order from publisher. I've already read/studied both Dorsey & Burke, and am trying to decide whether to add Aby to personal library. Tx, East.

Hi, Eric

Some time ago you posted that DD was a P&F short, then you reversed it back to a buy. Has DD reversed back to a short again?

DD was also a stock that Tom Dorsey suggested as a buy on pullback to 60ish when he was on CNBC a week or so ago.

Hello Eric,

You really must spend some time with TF+...as I have said to you before it is IMO the best P&F charting software available...I would love to have someone prove me wrong as it would have to be a killer program that beats it.

Following are some of the features applicable to P&F analysis that TF+ can do:

- Comes with 8 standard bullish and bearish P&F scans.
- Create your own scans for whatever P&F pattern you want.
- Save trend lines and notes directly on the charts.
- View charts using whatever box size you want.
- View charts using logarithmic scaling.
- Create your own relative strength charts using any index.
- Create and save lists on the fly and then create lists within lists. Useful for visually scanning a group of stocks and marking those of interest.
- Back test strategies using long and short positions.

The program can be trialled for free with a sample group of stocks or the full working version complete with manuals purchased for a nominal cost for a 90 day trial period.

Regards
David
