Comparing GE to AMZN in any context is rediculus. GE is an extremely powerful company entrenched in a highly diversified business...a business that require ENORMOUS capital investment for q competitor to enter the market to compete. AMZN is a retailer of books and CD,s dependant on access to online advertising with easy entry for well financed competitors that have FAR more money to spend and are focused on taking AMZN on.
