Thread,

I don't follow the european markets closely. Nonetheless, the apparent turnaround tonite after yesterday's interest rate rally surprised me a bit. They went down alot early but have since recovered some. Usual caveat. Markets are still open; they could reverse. Specifically my european reference is to Germany, France and Italy.

Is it just me, or do many of the markets appear schizophrenic?

Regards,

Tundra

P.S. I could not sleep; so I have to do something to pass the time....grin

One more thing. The futures at 3:30 remain at -180. In the rough area of where it was immediately after our close. Japan has since closed over 300 down. As I said, France, Germany and Italy all are down at the moment.

I have concluded that I really don't understand it. Note, however, I am not a futures trades; but do usually follow them overnight. In this case, I am perplexed.

Regards,

Tundra

Alan: It is not just the rotation that has changed. The entire market has changed. When Have you ever seen the Dow loose 20% in two months and recover 50% of this loss in the next month?
