Bearshark,

>>>> I am still looking for a correction before the next move. I need some more action to see what the market says. If we have an 800 point drop from here--which I do notexpect--this was a bear market rally.<<<

I think the next upswing could be the key if this is a bear market rally, rather than the size of this downswing. I also doubt that this specific downswing will be that great, so I am assuming that that it will produce a HIGHER LOW. Then the question is if the market can continue to produce higher highs. If the market cannot produce higher highs, I will first interpret that as confirmation of range trading, which could possibly be a hint that this is a bear market rally, although far from being conclusive.

On a subjective basis, I get a bit nervous when the market is relying on governmental intervention.

Good Morning bearshark,

I don't know how far, if at all, these markets will drop, but I'm following my work. I followed it up for more than a nice profit in just a few weeks. Now, I'm expecting to see a test of 8266 first. If we break 8000, then 7750 ought to stop it. I still suspect it will go higher, but I can only look around one corner at a time. I'm now short so I'll be pleased if we break 7400. I won't forcast, I'm just going along for the ride, up, down, whatever.

I see several possible formations developing. An inverted head and shoulder pattern may be forming in the NAZDAQ, it's way too early to know, I'm just having fun and enjoying the ride.
