Hi Enigma,

First of all, welcome. I don't remember seeing you post here before.

As old Slick would say, it depends on what you mean by the word 'pay'.

If I am a banker and interest rates go down and I can pay my depositors less, and if at the same time I don't increase my variable rate loan portfolio (lines of credit), then I am laughing all the way to the bank (my bank).

Hope I got that right.
