I'm not sure I see TA and FA as irreconcilable. FA tells you which stocks to buy--which companies are growing earnings and doing all the other things that add value to the balance sheet. TA tells you when to buy them--when the market is acting based on the value of the company, rather than panic in Asia or other non-fundamental things. But then, my picks have taken to dropping like rocks the day after I buy them, so what do I know? :-( Katherine
