Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I have heard that if you want to be represented at the open (at any brokerage) you need to enter the order at least 10-20 minutes earlier to be safe. Some have said 30 minutes. It has something to do with the way they open the stocks for trading.

Generally I have good service from Datek but the last 2 mornings I could scream when I get back "server temporarily unavailable "
