Gilbert,many statment included in this tread are absurd.NN ATM managment platform can outprform ASND 100x (up 50k nodes per domain, ADLS has 3x better density and energy consumption.NN platform can run DWDM over 36170, newly released software is great and not buggy,36170 can run LMDS and according to Vertical Systwm and IDC NN is No1 in carrier ATM and backbone.Dell'Oro group, which gave No1 position to ASND did not included many packet product which are sold by NN, but not ASND.Many of the fitures I have mentioned are not available on ASND products, including ss7 technology.In may 0f 1998 RSBA wrote in his raport that NN has absolutly the bast managment platform in the entire industry.
