Muffy's head was spinning. "Wow! All that money! I'll be rich!", she thought, as she bent over to sign on the dotted line.

But Norma grabbed her arm (Muffy was getting really tired of Norma continually grabbing her arm).

"No, wait! Don't sign that until you've read the small print!", chastised the wiser Norma. "Don't trust any of these people. They'll rip you off!"

Muffy's thoughts wandered for a few minutes as she thought about a strong young man ... perhaps a Clark Kent? ... ripping off her clothes. But then she realized it was only a daydream.

As Norma turned the contract over and began reading the microscopic small print on the back, Muffy sipped her brew. She thought about the e-BayWatch series. Play action figures. Bus billboards.

Just then, a 1960's MacDonald's semi tractor-trailer crashed through the front of the java joint! Right behind it came a couple of motorcycle cops from the California Highway Patrol. Muffy had a sudden urge for chocolate chips.

"Everybody evacuate the building!" yelled the dark haired cop. He was much heavier than his slimmer counterpart.

Muffy sighed heavily. "Oh, heck. Another shot at millionaire status wiped out. There's never a time portal around when you need one."
