<<While grateful for a buy opportunity, it would be a shame if Lehman is behind any attempt to move the stock price. I have always considered Tim Luke a good source of information for QC.>>

Agreed, Ramsey. I would be surprised if that was actually the case. Lehman has appeared to be pretty straight shooters in this regard, IMO. ...Tim

I cant confirm the exact statement, but at the end of her first report maria the bimbo stated"Lehman brother's said that they feel Qcom, who is announcing next week feel's the stock price had gotten ahead of itself and was overbought" She however triped up in the middle of her report. It was very sketchy the exact comment's. I find it very troubelsome, if Lehman is talking down the stock! If Greg or J. Scurcci are out there please I would appreciate your Opinion!

Ramsey,

"I have always considered Tim Luke a good source of information for QC."

Seems to me if there really is such a call coming from Lehman they must think the "whispers" are too high, and might even be concerned about the 50cents. Hopefully he's off the mark.

Anyone have an account with Lehman?

Ramsey,

If I recall correctly, in Lehman Brother's most recent research report, Tim Luke had a price target of $65 for 1999, and an estimate of $2.90 ($2.70?), a "conservative" 20-22 forward multiple. $65 puts Luke's forward multiple at 22.4. It struck me as odd that Luke had turned so conservative, but did not give it another thought. In a previous report, remember the forward multiple was a "conservative" 25.
