That spec for cellphone batteries was posted in early Sept.

We discussed it on the thread at that time. The battery stores 5.3 wh and holds 250 wh per liter. The battery is 9mm thick, so its apparently two cell thicknesses, each cell nominally 4mm.

The spec on the Ultralife battery mentioned in an EETimes article dated September 7th was 800 mAh with 3.7v which works out to 3 wh. I believe a recent post on this thread incorrectly specifies the ULBI battery at 2 wh. The storage density on the ULBI battery is 190 wh/liter. The cell thickness is 3.2mm.

A Moltech cellphone battery is mentioned in an article at
darnell.com on September 7th. This battery operates at 2v with 800 mAh for a capacity of 1.6 wh. The size of the cells aren't revealed in the article, but the thickness is 4mm, similar to the Valence cells.

Gordan, I believe you should use 3.8 volts x 1.4 amps for 5.36 watt hours. Then divide by 39g and the result is 136 watt hours/kg. IMO this is a prior version of the technology that has been tested the full 500 cycles and the spec sheet updated.
