teevee... I think you are absolutely correct on your outlook regards DeBeers and their position on supply and demand of the diamonds coming out of Canada, they will do whatever is necessary to protect the CSO monoply......also, I just talked to my Diamond expert Geologist buddy this afternoon and I want to share his thoughts with you....he feels that a "cone sheet dyke" would be a wonderful thing if it has occurred however he feels that, that type of intrusion has pretty much been limited to base metal magmas and he does not know of any "kimberlite cone sheet dykes" specifically he says that due to the explosive, volcanic nature of a kimberlite intrusion that a cone sheet is unlikely, that they are of a more subtle or less volatile nature as a rule. He feels that the Winspear situation is most likely kimberlite filled fissures along with a traditional feeder system of dykes or fissures leading back to a source(most likely a pipe)under Snap Lake or just to the North of Snap Lake, I'm no geologist and I'm just relaying his thoughts on to others as general info and food for thought for all........be advised though.....whatever it is and whatever we call it .....it's a big mother.
