Regarding the issue of whether U-Tel is too unrelated to Radica core business, there is an interesting article in the recent Forbes regarding a company called V-Tech. This company (apparantly not a public company?) primarly makes those educational electronic toys you see in all the toy stores. Little "computer" things, etc. They are quite successful. Like Radica, they manufacture product in their own factory in China. They also make the well known V-Tech line of wireless phones, that you can buy at any electronic retailer, and they make these in the same China factory. The article, at least, thought that this was a smart combination. It seems it would be similar to Radica using their China factory for manufacture of the U-Tel product. Of course in Radica's case, it is still not clear that there will be any demand for the U-Tel product, as it is still a development stage situation.
