Yes.... Seeing this play out is indeed satisfying... Exactly what I would hope Antitrust is all about.

I remember arguing with a work mate over Microsoft's tactics, including those with AOL and Intuit... I do remember at the time there was indication of exactly what seems to have happened... Microsoft offered financial incentives to AOL and Intuit that they couldn't resist, never mind the threats and licensing restrictions...

My work mate seemed to think there was no way that Microsoft would be pressed for violating antitrust laws...

It has always been my feeling that Microsoft should be stopped from using the tactics they've used.. And given what I've read, I just can't see how they can escape sanctions... And if they do.... I will be very very disappointed with the general concept of "doing what is right"...
