Dear kent, I cannot comment on the people who post on any silicon line thread, but I believe that normal educated and sane investors will decide for themselves as to who is a valid poster and who should be ignored. I hope all posters to all threads have the basic decency to act in a responsible manner and use the public forum of the SI for the true purpose for which it is intended. In further response to an email received from an ASTG shareholder, I wish to state that all information I or members of our group obtained is publicly available, and we do not believe that we are more able to inform any of you with information on ASTG that you cannot get from either SEC filings or other sources in the normal course of your due diligence. In respect to how we propose to deal with the exisiting shareholders equity in the event we structure a deal, I would say that it always our intention and continues to be, that the public value of ASTG is the value of the stock in the marketplace x the outstanding shares, taking into account major items such as lawsuits etc. So for example, if there are say 20 million shares issued, and the price of the stock is 5 cents, then the market value of the company is circa $1 million. If our investment group brought say $4 million in, then we would expect a stock issue to give us 80% of the outstanding shares. We would also insist on management and board control if such an investment is made. However, the value of the stock should rise in the event the company is salvaged, and new management and expertise is brought in. With new business and a brighter future prospect for the company, the resulting increase in the share price would benefit all shareholders alike, old and new. I can confirm that at this time we are in discussions with another group with a view to proposing an investment package to salvage ASTG. If the negotiations are successful, we will make public announcements. thank you Michael Zwebner
