Thanx Elroy, "Involvement"...not the same as a Contribution is it? Not attempting to split hairs, but I've yet to see a another company, claiming an actual technology contribution to the G. lite standard. Interoperability would be a pre-requisite to any standard in my thinking.

From you clipping:

"PairGain's close involvement in the development of the G.lite standard focused on accelerating time-to-market by minimizing
unnecessary modifications to the existing full-rate DMT ADSL standard,
allowing vendors to build on existing interoperability
work."

Possibly...I say possibly... Pairgrain has a technology contribution in the existing full-rate ADSL standard, which somehow is a portion of G.lite standard.
