Good thing that they noted that that DORFMAN account was the product of "imagination". Chileans grew up when they deposed Chilean Marxist Allende before he could complete his plans for totalitarian dictatorship. The majority of Chileans in and out of the legislature opposed Allende's unconstitutional actions. Chile today is considered to be a model for post totalitarian societies. History regards Pinochet as a hero, albeit with flaws that flowed from having to deal with the subversive Left. The children can't accept that. He was not the monster that the Left depicts as they continue to divert and defend the real monsters of the 20th Century, the totalitarian Left. When will the totalitarian Left be brought to account for their crimes against humanity?
