Jay-go figure yesterday Nortel (NT) reported net earnings of minus 54 cents per share (after merger costs with Bay Networks were handled) ,the market rewarded them by going from $34.50 to $38/share. Besides that they have a PE of 48, vs. Tellab's 28 or so.
Just some more assumptions of Cable products for Tellab's-I figure that just this increase in sales in '99 should increase price of Tellab's $2.58/share.

"Chris said, "We go over-bought above about 58, should we get that far." (msg #4217)

Well, the high for the week so far is 57 7/8, so we missed it by a sliver. Does close count?

WRT "Short Interest - fyi"...
Looks like there was some substantial covering during the dip: viwes.com
(Sorry if this is redundant - my READ AHEAD buffer was not ON and there's no way here to cancel a post...)

What will we do without the shorts propelling us higher?

P.S. - some using my firstname mentioned PAYX, which also showed up in one of the recent top-20 short lists.
