James: Don't count on it. It may be a case of buy the rumor and sell the news. We have seen that in the past. ('93, '94 time frame)

I agree with you when you pointed out the bottom on the NYSE chart. But I have to say That Donald is correct in taking a neutral stance. At least for the near future. As I have mentioned before, the marketplace has changed. And previous performances no longer reflect current performances accurately. Things are going way too fast.

Regards,

Jaime

Jim,

>>>>> If the FED cuts Rates again in November you might find yourself quickly switching from neutral into a high gear up move... By then we would have completed most of the year end tax loss selling... <<<<<<<<

If you have seen my previous posts, I have already stated that I would turn more bullish for the short/mid - term if the DOW surpasses 8800, but I will have to also add the points of high volume and strong improvements in the market internals.

Now, what happens if the FEDs do not lower interest rates in NOV, and we break below 8000, will you still be as bullish.

I just go both ways, whats wrong with that. My PUTS are making money and hopefully my calls will make money when I initiate them. The KEY is to make money - isnt it?
