Dividend confusion. Have a look on this link:

Here you see the dividend paid over the last years.
Is it true that MO paid a quarterly dividend of 1.2$ in '96 ?
I can't believe it.
If it is true, then it would expect that MO heavily increases the dividend after a settlement.

Sorry, I found the reason: Dividends were not adjusted to stock splits.

It's ok now.
