Chuca,

The top 20 feet is recent alluviam. I don't believe it has ever been under sea water. Unless there are unusual conditions involving heat, pressure and a sulfur source, oxides don't revert back to sulfides. I don't believe that the recent alluvium has seen these conditions.

The black sands they are mapping are oxides not sulfides so why would they need to break them up.

Carbon is used in the same way as a resin. It collects the gold from the leaching solution and has nothing to do with gravity concentration.

If Hewletts theory is correct, it will be the first time for alluvials. How does he know there is not a deep hard rock deposit giving him his mobile metal ions at the surface?

The magnetic field changed when the poles shifted, not the direction of the drainages.

Your serve. VBG

Tim

I went to the Sonoran Desert Museum outside of Tucson this summer. In the Earth Room or whatever down in the mine exhibit cave they had a dozen globes showing the evolving earth and axis position rotations. Those polar changes are in fact a twist or shift of the magnetics that could influence the flowages of waters and of metals in the fines.
The Gulf of Mexico area is now the receiver of the AZ rivers ( ie the Colorado and the Gila and Salt Rivers) so back then, just maybe as the flows were spun around in different directions. The Carbon Circuit I viewed had a Ball Mill ( ie like a Vibra Mill with Steelies) crushing the stuff last year elsewhere. So, I think that a vibra mill method is needed to augment any leach method stuff, so with the chemicals added to the particles...it COULD be used IMO. Maybe I am wrong, but it makes sense to me. Crush and Mix, rather than shake and bake. Get that part? Now, describe the Carlin Trend Belly Up Backward Theor!
Maighe be at our areas?
