>>is IOM desperate for news or what?<<

It's called Hype, something Iomega is Wall Street-famous for.

Reputable Wall Street Institutions tend to ignore it, hence IOM's extremely low Institutional Ownership. But individual Suckers who buy in based on the hype soon learn that reality somehow injects itself into IOM, and the price collapses back downwards. It's Comdex time again, and this is Iomega's Annual Hype Parade. This is the time of year they try and trot out any old donkey out of the stable and present it as Seattle Slew.

You get used to it with this company.

>>PIP printing has been using Jazz and Zip for years. All they're saying is that they are making them standard, which is already the case.<<

Well, I just picked out from my phonebook the nearest PIP Printing, called and was informed it has had a Zip drive inhouse for only 6 months and doesn't even have Jaz yet. Thus, your statement that PIP Printing has already *standardized* on Zip and Jaz "for years" seems simply not to be "the case." Standardization would mean Zip and Jaz in each of the nearly 500 PIP Printing establishments. I would suspect, given the announcement, that the store I called will be "upgraded" in the next few weeks or months.
