Sam, Where in my posts have I used "bible, preacher, church, elders, body of Christ, christian brotherhood or bible authorities . . ."? "God" yes. The others no. Perhaps because you spend so much time on the Ask God thread, you have confused me with someone else. My focus is "theism" and "spirituality" in the broad sense-- not particular dogmas. If the nature of these ideas strikes you as anti-freethought, then perhaps we can discuss your definition of "freethinking". Rick
