GZ, surprise a honest broker. Merrill Lynch analyst on CNBC, (forgot his name starts with B) recommended to get out of cyclicals and guess what else Computer stock e.g. DELL, GTW etc, <ggg>

His take was that the earnings have not been hit yet by the slowdown and 6 months from now earnings will be lower.

Also Forrester research issued a study predicting sharply lower computer sales begining within a year. OP's

Also Biggs was on today and he predicts DJIA 6000 next year, bit to low to my taste as the FED & Mr. Rubin will let it go so low, but who will argue about that.

Another interesting note institutions are sitting on their hands - no orders to the floor according to Bob Passani. And funds inflows were a trickle.

Interesting times.

I need confirmation on this....does anyone here see an almost perfect head and shoulders forming on DELL?

I think even the volume pattern matches the textbook definition of head and shoulder formation according to edwards and magee!

Folks, we may have a near perfect shorting opportunity in the making....

If true it would seem we should be headed for 47 pretty soon to finish off the right shoulder...
