max,

My main page has a minder with 30 stocks showing bid/ask,last. I usually have two L2 windows open with TOS on the side. Then I have one small minder with the major indices. And, a position minder, of course. One of my L2 windows has been Dell and someone suggested that the vol in Dell might be shutting me down so today I closed the Dell window. Don't know if this will help much. Still had quotes freeze at least once. I don't keep any charts open normally though I'll switch over to them at times. I don't think the display load is my problem unless the TOS windows on the side of the L2 are too much. Still searching for the answer.

Rick

You guys should also find out who MBTs internet service provider is. It is better to go with an ISP that uses the same backbone, such as Sprint, UUNet, MCI, etc. That way your traffic doesn't have to cross the internet, and just stays on one backbone.
