HP will support Wind River's Tornado development environment with HP 16600A/16700A series logic analyzers. "By connecting HP logic-analysis systems to the Tornado tool framework, hardware designers and software developers now have a best-of-class development and debug environment," said Patrick J. "Many of our customers are VxWorks users, so it makes perfect sense for us to combine our industry-leading logic analyzers with Wind River's premier, real-time operating system to help designers bring products to market faster." Simultaneous Multitool Access The new alliance means that all designers on a project team will have simultaneous access to HP embedded debug tools within the Wind River Tornado environment, as well as to development tools from other leading vendors. Each team member will have the tools needed to complete their portion of the project on time, reducing project costs and delivering high-quality products to the marketplace.
