John, I will read your post in depth with some others, this week-end.
I feel deep concern, but can't put my finger on what. Could it be like Noah, hammering the last nail in the big boat, and yet the desert around them was just that clear, blistering, dried out place and yet it was only a matter of days or hours? I don't know. Something's up and it ain't good.

Am I the only person with this sense of alarm? Truly, the desert could not be more normal, and buying and selling of fields and planning daily activities and the Dow rising, our new pagan god, and this is all about as unreal as a sci-fi futuristic horror film to me, yet I don't know why.
