I know the feeling of panicking whilst shorting... we re both new at this. I covered for a profit, only to watch it lose another point... Then when it came back up, I shorted again, and got out at the bell with a bit more profit. I did pretty well (and will try to short it again tomorrow) but I missed another $750 by covering too soon. I need to grow some more hair on my ...... MG

Got my computer up and running, SI down DRIV saw DRIV running past 11.75 almost SMP Got up, went to the can Came back, sat down, and Larry Voyles posted in my head, "follow your convictions" Then i think I heard "the force is with you, use the force" So I shorted another 500 at 11.75, figuring I'd lost my mind and what would it matter anyway. Put in an order to cover at 10.50. Not filled, will wait for tomorrow. Hoping for profit taking. BTW, my timing was way off as well, didn't buy on the downside, bought on the upside, was cancelling my order as it was filled.
