Donald,

You're pretty shameless. Exercising a little damage control are we? Spin Spin Spin... -- and even a lie it would seem. In any event, so as not to mislead the readers of this thread, the SEC said:

> The Securities and Exchange Commission
> ("Commission") deems it appropriate to institute
> public cease and desist proceedings against
> Donald A. Baillargeon ("Baillargeon"), individually
> and doing business as Emerging Company Report
> ("ECReport"), pursuant to Section 8A of the
> Securities Act of 1933 ("Securities Act").

You stated:

> 2. A more ambiguous section of the rule has to
> do with the actual amount of the compensation.
> Emerging Company Report accepts cash only and
> understood the rule to be limited to stock
> compensation.

And the SEC stated:

> Baillargeon also received, directly or indirectly,
> compensation in the form of stock from two issuers
> publicized in the ECReport Media.

Like David asked -- did the SEC lie or did you? So how much more do you charge "to provide a national press release via Business Wire"? What of the compensation of only $2500? Volume discount? What are your personal holdings in these companies?

> We simply offer a reciprocal forum where companies
> can tell their story to viewers and viewers can
> see and hear the people behind those companies.

What was that comment about ""Pump & Dump" companies need not apply?"

Donald, your credibility is shot. In choosing whether or not to believe the Securities Commission and yourself -- a program that chose to feature Thermo Tech -- a company that would seem to fit pump and dump to a T -- I think I'll go with the Securities Commission.

Like Thermo Tech, you seem to be choosing to interpret a legal institution and spin the verdict into something it ain't. I can't believe you have the gall to post so clearly contradicting the SEC.

In case you haven't read it:
sec.gov

As for calling you to discuss the issue -- who has the time? The order and the reasons for it seem quite clear.
