<<I can call up a list in QP2 and add the file names there and view them with QP2>> is exactly what I addressed in the 1st point, Webb.
-processMS manually via use of a new or edited qp.lst as input per my msgs to Debra [in order to avoid the reboot necessary after the drag-to-virtual alternative].
-----
input = "my edited list.lst";
output = "null.lst";
processMS = "E:\meta\my edited list", vms;
println symbol;
------------
The 2nd point addressed <<I have made the virtual output of say the HotMACD stocks, but if the MACD cross is made say today, the stock will not show up on the scan tomorrow. That is why I would like to make the growing list of stocks to watch>>
-most repeat scans [i.e. for Xovers] will give just new hits -- if you put, for example, hotMACD scans in dr:\meta\hotMACD\today's date, GET should be able to see them as one entity meant that you end up with
dr:\meta\hotMACD\10-14-98
dr:\meta\hotMACD\10-23-98
dr:\meta\hotMACD\10-287-98

The TF+ read-qp version is supposed to ship between now and early next week BTW.
