Unrequited love!

From WSJ re love affair between Case of AOL and Stalin of Netscape:

But it was apparently a rocky relationship. In a draft letter to Netscape Chief Executive James Barksdale, introduced into evidence Wednesday, Mr. Case referred to some resentment between the companies and said, "Maybe we should try another approach altogether. If you're primarily in the enterprise software business ... and we're primarily in the consumer online business ... maybe we should pool our technologies."

The letter included a plea for a "grand alliance" he likened to the one between Joseph Stalin and Winston Churchill "that beat Hitler" in World War II. He ended the letter, "wanting to feel loved, I remain, Steve."
