Don: Practice being a grumpy tourist. That's the core of New York Survival 101. New Yorkers thrive on abuse. I believe it's an S&M thing. Down deep, they love to receive what they give. When I drive in Manhattan, I drive faster and more recklessly than the cabbies. This makes me the intimidator as opposed to the intimidatee - a much preferred position and no more hazardous than playing victim. Actually, Manhattan is turning into DisneyWorld North. Times Square all Disney. Clean, safe and family fare. Two years ago it was a war zone. Guiliani has gotten the nudie places banned. No more topless dancing. Even the porno bookstores are hurting due to new regulations. Now, I have to go to Orlando to get my masculine jollies. By the way. Don't worry about that 11 year thang. FNTN is on a slightly more nearfield path than Iridium. Two years and change. By the time you visit the Rockettes you'll be a happy man. Promise! Just don't expect them to show any leg. Wally
