Major General reported quite a rich 12 m. kimberlite diamond core yesterday. The good news, it was taken from a shallow lake instead of a deep one. (less cost, less trouble ??) 75 diamonds is a lot of diamonds in a 80 kilogram sample, that would mean over 900 DIAMONDS in 1 ton.?? (12.5 times more) If Be Beers report even one (1) Macro among those 75 diamonds in a week or two, that would mean a dozen (12) Macros in 1 ton. Dia Mets active mine in the area is reporting approx. 1 carat per ton.?? (what's the difference between a carat diamond and a Macro.???) Let's hope they were lucky and hit the kimberlite PIPE with that 12 m shallow drill, in that shallow lake.!!!!!
