Has anyone else heard or seen anything about this?

FWIW -- In the past few days when the market made a quick move from 100 points up to about 100 points down, CNBC interviewed some guy who said the reason for the move was that the Brazilian government had announced something to the effect that they hadn't even started working on the Y2K problem and because of that they were going to be in deep trouble. CNBC's Ron Insana almost swallowed his teeth and quickly changed the subject to the rumor of Brazil doing a devaluation.

I've been looking for a news release about Brazil and Y2K but haven't been able to find a thing.
