Pat, I've read many of your previous posts and I find your insight quite good most of the time. However, and in all due respect, Cisco is still in GTE although it is true that the ATM business is ASND. But make no mistake Cisco is in GTE in a major way. Cisco and Alcatel - I reviewed this one to death. Alcatel wants into the domestic carrier market. So does Cisco, the match wasn't there and so they went their separate ways when it comes to carrier markets. ASND will let them in and ALA will eat ASND's lunch. I know this from experience. CSCO and CIEN. Yeah, what makes you think this is over? OG
